Cool Down Section

A cooling section is the same as a return/ buffer section except it is designed to carry cooling fans. These fans blow ambient air onto the fixture portion of the pallets. This section would be used with a hot only system to help cool the products down after leaving the hot section, so it is easier for the operator to handle the products. They can be manufactured in 4', 6', and 8' lengths.

The pallets are received from the previous door section and stopped in front of a cooling fan for a preset time period. This section may have one or more fan stations to cool multiple pallets at the same time. Pallets are transferred in and out via SMEMA interface.
